Pahlavi crimes
I will tell you that when I look at the memoirs which have been written by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's friends, I read that in certain cases, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi himself was extremely angry at the Americans. He sometimes cursed them.
During Saddam's imposed war on Iran from 1980 to 1988, the Western governments provided the Iraqi regime with chemical weapons and sophisticated military equipment as well as strategic supports.
part 1
In January 1952, engineering advisors from the US who had come to Tehran were less than ten in number. But their number suddenly hiked after PM Mosaddeq fell from power following the 1953 coup. In October 1953, the number of US advisors reached 133 and the growing trend continued, so much so that in 1970, the number of American advisors in Iran was a little below 8 thousand; and in 1978 it had reached 50 thousand. Ervand Abrahamian (born 1940, a historian of Middle Eastern and particularly Iranian history) wrote: Their number, under 10 thousand in the Iranian year 1345 increased to 60 thousand in the year 1356.
Irdc: with Islamic movement getting started, people were starting to chant "Down with USA" alongside "Down with Shah" in the protests.
Imam Khomeini used to swiftly reject the idea of any sort of reform and would resolutely fight any sort of advantage given by the Pahlavi regime. He dismissed as unacceptable Mohammad Reza Shah’s repentance, saying it was like Pharaoh’s repentance. We also rejected the idea of any transition government. He ridiculed the Shah’s initiative of free election and called it meaningless with the Shah on hand. He said the arrest of state leaders by Mohammad Reza was an amusing game. He said Sharif Emami’s national reconciliation government as well as the national government of Bakhtiar were tricks to stop the revolution. He would directly and strongly attack those who talked of accepting the constitution and would call it treason to Islam.
I request the Christian clerics to advise some of the heads of powerful countries and denounce their support for a person who has turned his back to the divine teachings. The Holy Qur’an has mentioned the name of Holy Christ with magnificence and has purified Holy Mary. It is the duty of the Christian nation to pay their debt to the Muslim nation. Peace [be with you].
Many political analysts and experts believe that islamic revolution resulted in US power failure in international politics. One of the main plans of the US government to bring Islamic republic of Iran on its knees, was to impose sanctions on it. But this was a dead end! Besides, following substantial increase in sanctions in 2018, Atlantic Council Think Tank published an analysis claiming that pursuing the sanctions will lead to nowhere and US isn't being supported internationally like it was back in 2013. This is how the history proves that in forty years all US plans and collisions against Iran has been failed and ended up in nothing but humiliation and discredit for US.
Starting late August 1978, Imam Khomeini’s house in Iraq was under siege by Iraqi security forces. The Iraqi Ba’ath party forces would prevent people from visiting him. The situation led Imam Khomeini to decide to leave, which he did in the very October. The book “Imam Khomeini’s Journey to Paris until Return to Iran” published by the Islamic Revolution Documents Center, Imam Khomeini’s son Ahmad related the journey.
Many political analysts and experts believe that islamic revolution resulted in US power failure in international politics. US defense minister, director of CIA and US national security advisor mention in their diaries that after US failure in Tabas, they were told to consider plans to seek revenge. So in the headquarters of the coup in Paris, Shapour Bakhtiar took the lead to contribute any support to stage the coup. But this ended up as a failed coup too. Nojeh coup was failed, so they went on with this option: Iraq's ba'ath regime invading Iran! But That way, another failure was noted in the list of US failures in Iran. Iran overcame the issue and during the war reached out to self-sufficiency in many fields. Iran's victories despite the arms embargo, was another stroke to US political prestige.
The Mujahedin Khalq Organization is among the most popular political formations which due to its unique features during its about 40 years old lifetime, has been frequently the focus of politicians, researchers and the public and despite many similar groups, it has been able to stay in political scene of Iran (as a remarkable element) near four decades; however, despite this fact, a halo of ambiguity has surrounded the past and future of this organization that few researchers can examine and describe it clearly and carefully and study it as a part of contemporary history of the country.
