IRDC.IR: January 4-7 1979, with the victory of Islamic revolution approaching, the leaders of 4 western countries including France, US, England and Germany gathered in an island called Guadelope to discuss their policies about some important crisis, including Islamic revolution of Iran. They were willing to prevent the fall of Pahlavi dynasty, but Iranian nation's will overcame them. However, history has recorded evidence showing US and Europe's alliance against Iranian nation.

1. Iran being occupied by "the allies" during the world war 2

US and Europe's cooperation in 1979, caused Iran's military occupation and Iranian nation were gravely hurt. When the allies occupied Iran, militaries of the great powers took control of a large part of Iran's agricultural and animal sources.

US, UK and Soviet Union military forces were the pillar of Iran's politics and economy. The new procedures started to control Iran, were affected by the exigencies of the world war 2. During this historical process, US, UK and Soviet Union alliance led to military occupation and foreign military forces stepped into Iran.

2. US and Europe cooperation in August 19 1953 coup

1953 coup was the inflection point in the interaction pattern of US and Europe, relating to Iran's political and economical changes. US supported the process of the nationalization of oil industry in Iran against UK in 1950. By the time Mosadeq was hoping for US cooperation, US and UK intelligence services used the operation "Ajax" to confront and overthrow Mosadeq's government. The "Ajax" showed that US and UK somehow employed common mechanisms in dealing with Iran. The coup against Mosadeq's government revealsls that the behavioral pattern of UK as Europe's classic power symbol is fairly in common with the mechanisms that that US follows for it's own security and national interests.

3. Europe and US alliance in southwest Asia

During Eisenhower's presidency, we can see a new pattern for US and Europe alliance in southwest Asia. Bagdad pact in 1955 and CENTO pact in 1958 are considered as the signs of the whole alliance process, which great powers had participated in.

Iran's membership in regional pacts made it inevitable for it to cooperate with US in military and security affairs.

In such process, over 12000 US advisors were working in various military fields and defense utilities until the victory of Islamic revolution.

So once more, this alliance cost a fortune for Iranian nation, because during 1953-78, Iran actually was an occupied country, a country paying for US regional security in western Asia.

4. US and Europe cooperation with Pahlavi regime against Iranian people

US and Europe set the scene to settle their power in Iran after the 1953 coup, and in the next years, they stood side by side the Pahlavi regime, against Iranian people.

Furthermore, regime bought weapons from US and Europe, which in some cases were used to confront the nation.

A noticeable part of the military and defense cooperation of Pahlavi regime was set with weaponry companies of Germany, France and England. European countries knew that Iran's economy and its weapons market were open to them, only because US was acting as the pillar of security policy of the West.

US and Europe cooperation not only was related to the process of economic cooperation with Iran, but also they were trying to organize a new format of political literature, cultural debate and economic development. The sign of such process can be found in 1960's. In 1962, the issue of the infrastructures needed for Land Reform came up. Not only the European countries were supporting the policy of changing Iran's economic and social structure, but also the Soviet Union was considered as the main supporter of the new processes of Iran's economic development. The development plan was formed based on the essentials of capitalism and would've transform Iran to a monoculture country in the world economy. In this process, Iran's economic dependence to world politics would have increased.
